Prior to the statewide "stay at home" mandate, Patti and I took California Coastal road trip to wonderful Goat Rock Beach in Jenner, California, just north of Bodega Bay.


Goat Rock Beach is located on Highway 1. When you turn in to the park, it is elevated with some spectacular views. There are a number of places you can turn off to to take pictures. The drive winds it way down to a parking lot right at Goat Rock. A bit further down is the parking lot for the beach itself. DO NOT get close to the water. It is dangerous and people have died by getting swept in. There are signs all along the parking lot.



The beach itself is great for beach combing as you can see in this video.
