Citroen C5 X is the new flagship model of this French manufacturer, characterized by an original body design. Indeed, it is not a crossover, but a liftback with an interestingly raised rear. What distinguishes the new 2023 Citroen C5 X apart from its appearance? I assessed this by using the car for several days and preparing a video test about it. For the drive, I received the maximum rich configuration, which included the Shine Pack equipment version and the plug-in hybrid PHEV system. The Hybrid version of the C5 X means the presence of a 1.6 gasoline engine under the hood, which with the support of the electric system generates 225 hp. In the video, I show what kind of dynamics the Citroen C5 X offers and at least 0-100 km/h acceleration, and how its fuel consumption in the city and on the road compares. Since we are dealing with the Hybrid variant here, I also check how long it takes to charge and what range the car offers in electric mode. I also try to answer the question of whether a plug-in hybrid is a good option for this model, given the price and performance. The Citroen C5 X also brought new multimedia on board, and in the video I show how the car handles and how the interior quality compares. I also show the capacity of the trunk and rear bench seat, as well as how the LED lights shine. Citroen has always been famous for its comfort and I devote a section of the video test to how comfortable the C5 X is and how it drives.
