If your PolarStar HPA engine setup is firing in full auto, even when your selector is in the semi-auto position, then you’re going to want to check out this video.

I wanted to show how to fix a semi to full auto selector issue with the Polstar FCU. The polarstar FCU detects semi vs. full auto when the selector plate trips a microswitch on the back of the trigger board. When the micro switch is disengaged, then the P* FCU will be fire in semi. When the micro switch is engauged, then the P* FCU will fire in full auto, or what ever alternative mode you set (which might also be semi auto).What that means is when your selector plate depresses the switch, the FCU fires based on the full auto mode settings if you have it setup that way.

When the PolarStar fires in full auto even when its set to semi auto what that means is your selector plate is too long and you need to file it down to fit. This is analogous to selector plate sticker tuning for optical mosfets on AEG's.
