Come join Karl and I targeting BIG CARP on the popular Linear Fisheries complex in Oxford. This style of fishing is fishing at distance on a large stillwater.

Our mission was simple, to land a few big carp, with plenty of 20lbs, 30lbs, 40lbs and a few 50's our hopes were high especially seeing so many fish showing in front of us. It did not take long for a bite!

Our tactics were to fish at long range 19 wraps to be precise as we have learned the majority of the big carp hold. With our spombs ready, we clipped up our rods and started to introduce bait, primarily adding pellets, hemp, sweetcorn, a few crushed boilies and plenty of liquid attractant. Hookbaits were boilies, plastic maggots, plastic corn, wafters and magic beans.

What a session we were about to have with my good friend smashing his personal best carp twice - well in lad!
