Hi everyone! Mason jars are very popular right now, so in this video, I'll show you how to use height, texture, and an interesting structural element (more on armatures in the video!) to put a new twist this easy favorite. I'm using a Ball jar, but any antique or store-bought canning jar will do--and if you don't have a canning jar, you can do this same arrangement in a vase.

I'll also talk about how to make a floral arrangement that is visually interesting without a lot of color. I filmed this video in Michigan in late May--we don't have a whole lot blooming at the moment. So while I didn't have a lot of variety in my colors (lots of greens, and a few early season purples) I'm going to show you how you can have a mostly monochromatic arrangement that lets shape and texture do the work.
