Today we are adding a twist to a basic checkerboard pattern. You can create a different look to your bracelets by changing the width of your bracelet strips. The middle strip is wider than the other strips on either side and can create an exciting change while working off of a basic frame. The dark and light lauhala strips still give your finished bracelet a strong, traditional contrast. Always remember to work with your lauhala while it is damp. The water will keep the lauhala strips soft and supple. Enjoy!!
