New details are emerging about the recent pager explosions in Lebanon and Syria which Lebanon now says killed at least 12 people including two children while also wounding thousands of others.

The pagers were used by hundreds of members of Hezbollah. A US official is quoting an anonymous Israeli source who says it was an Israeli Operation.

In wake of the attack, Hezbollah has vowed to punish Israel.

Secretary of State Antony Blinken said the US did not have any advanced warning and cautioned all sides against taking steps that could escalate the conflict in the region.
