The standard way to distribute smaller objects on a bigger one is to set the MASH distribution to "Mesh".

In this tutorial we distribute cones of different colours on different objects _interactively_. The MASH node for this is called "Placer".

In the tutorial you will encounter two moments where the placement of the cones are not correct. Chris Hardcastle (he runs
Mainframe North alongside Martin Vejdarski, and Ian Waters is part of that key team for MASH) gave the following valuable advice:

"if you drag in your Torus as a 'Paint Mash' before using the Collide brush your points will stay on the surface."
