Comprised of the words सिना (Sina) translates to Dying and ज्या (Jya) translates to Work, Dyingly Hard Laborous Work as a whole, this song is the celebration of the ambiance of the month Asar, generally the monsoon season, during plantation, in Nepal. It is mostly popular among Newa ethnic communities.
This song is the representation of the livelihood of laborious and proud farmers, not only Newa people but all Neaplese included. While people are troubled and annoyed by the rain, these farmers rather worship and enjoy it. The song describes how important, joyful and auspicious the plantation season and their fields is to them and how important these farmers are to the society.

Although, numerous researches have been conducted, the original composer of this centuries old Jolly Melody is yet to be discovered.

हिसी परेकी मैँचा आईन्, कम्मर मर्काउँदै स्वोँमा बोक्दै
