Paper negatives are a cheap alternative to film.
It has less dynamic range and is mor contrasty.
To make a good picture, the exposure needs to be spot on.
That is a challenge when the paper is highly sensitive to blue and UV light, while it is blind to all the red. The deep forest may turn dark, while the sky may turn all white. Blue eyes look bright, while freckles and skin defects will bloom in all its glory.

I have tried different ISO values for paper negatives, from 1 to 6 and now 8.
8 seems to give a nice balance. But I still havent tried higher levels. Maybe it will look good together with some preflashing.

I have also expermineted with yellow filter on paper negatives and may return with a video about it.

I was saddened to read the news that Aloy Anderson (Raychristofer on YouTube) has passed away. He was a very likeable person and popular in the analog comunity. He made many good and interesting videos that are worth to see. He was preparing a video about shooting with paper negatives. And his trailer video looked really cool.
