The 1.7-liter turbo diesel for Opel cars was created by Isuzu engineers almost 20 years ago. This engine has evolved from prechamber to common rail injection. Moreover, the fuel injection components for this engine were supplied by Bosch and Denso. However, with the Bosch system, this engine was only offered for the Opel Astra G and Astra H.
