Two ranges west of Salt Lake City lies the Stanbury Range, which separate Utah's west desert from the intermountain environment. Deseret Peak is the highest peak in the range, with multiple aesthetic couloirs. We ventured up to the peak in hopes of good snow, but found the worst kind of snow possible.
