Are pensioners better off under Labour?

Keir Starmer has insisted they are., pointing to the almost 500 pound increase to the state pension next year.

He pointed to the almost £500 annual increase to the state pension, which was confirmed yesterday as a result of the triple lock. Labour has committed to keeping the triple lock for another 5 years.

However, that might be little comfort to the 10 million pensioners who are losing out on their winter fuel payments.

Among them, a constituent of Plaid Cymru MP Ann Davies, who confronted the Prime Minister with the harsh reality of Labour's policy. Let's hear her comments, and what Starmer had to say in return.
