I was not able to do any serious bike touring this summer again, due to factors beyond my control. But I still feel the need to post bike touring videos. So I tested out the "Way-back" machine and dusted off some old photos. It's kind of like when you're watching a baseball game on TV and suddenly there's a rain delay. To fill time, the TV network will sometimes show an old game recorded from years earlier. It's kind of like that. 🤷‍♂️
In 1985, my friend Kevan and I rode our bikes across the USA. The plan was to ride from Seattle, Washington to Savannah, Georgia. I carried a Pentax 35mm camera to record the trip. In those days, film and processing film cost money, so I had to be pretty selective about what I was shooting. And I am certainly not a professional photographer. I'm more of a story teller. LOL! So let's go back in time and let me show you the story of my 1985 Coast to Coast USA Bike Tour.
