90歲的緒芬和84歲的妹妹緒芳，身體健康，行動自如，卻在9年前先後住進同一家安養中心。
「住在這裡，不要買菜做飯，我就空出很多的時間，可以打理其他的事情，自由自在。」

住在安養中心，姊姊可以運動；妹妹有時間散步、看書，出門和朋友聚會。孩子們都支持這個決定。「我覺得媽媽是去住旅館！」

如今，這對芬芳姊妹唯一掛心的，是結縭近70年的另一半。
妹妹緒芳，即將陪先生鴻勛走向人生終點。
姐姐緒芬，面臨先生同義的退化，還捨不得放手交由別人照顧。
