On the last day of a 3 day fishing trip we target Garrick (Leervis) and are pleasantly surprised with a massive Kob while trolling lures. These fish are in prime spawning condition having gorged themselves on Sardines and are safely released to replenish the stocks. Port St Johns is renown for big fish and once again produces just that. Angling from a small boat with light tackle and catching large quality fish doesn't get much better than this....
