I've played Halo for all the years! I foolishly bought what was in front of me when the Xbox and PlayStation 2 released; having not been aware that Microsoft was making a console. Thank you, sheltered rock life.

I played Halo at my friends' houses and eventually was gifted my Xbox 360 by my girlfriend on my 18th birthday. Even then, the Xbox for my birthday was mostly just for Guitar Hero! I eventually bought the Halos and just kept on rolling. I bought the games blindly. Best marketing. Solid memories. I didn't need to know much to make the purchase. It's THE game of a generation.

Once Halo Infinite dropped, I was stoked to jump back in the life and pick up the sticks. Sheesh! Like riding a bike.

I watched the streaming of the first HCS of 2022 kick off in Raleigh, North Carolina. I saw that the series made stops in Orlando, Arlington, and eventually Seattle. With everything on my plate, these felt like far away things.

It was such a blessing to catch Orlando. Then I was STOKED to walk into the World Championship!!

I'll do a debrief of the actual event and how things shook out, but I thought it would just be cool for this footage to have a home of existing.
