We have a look at the Hurontario LRT Line 10 also refer as the Hazel McCallion Line guideway to see where the construction is at between Britannia Rd and the North side of Hwy 401 Overpass. Trackwork finally taking place on the overpass that is part of the testbed that was to see testing of the new fleet back in February this year with a lot of missing tracks for the testbed as well no LRV’s due the Ottawa LRV’s issues that are the same for this line. The line was supposed to open end of 2024 for the 18-kilometre (11 mi) line with a possibility now it will open in 2026 subject to how the centre core loop extension that must be added to the line now. Platforms being built for one 48m Alstom Citadis Spirit light LRV that can be expanded to two cars in the future alone with infill stations. The line will go over Highway 401 and Highway 403 and using an elevated guideway in the City core with a T connection to get to the Rathburn Road West Square One Station and part of the loop not in the current contract as of June 2024.
