Last weekend saw the largest global protests for Palestine, with millions marching in over 20 huge demonstrations across cities like London, Sydney, Dublin, Dhaka, Caracas, and Jakarta.

In London, nearly 300,000 people gathered, organised by groups like the Palestinian Solidarity Campaign and Stop the War Coalition, ahead of the one-year anniversary of the Hamas breakout and the subsequent Israeli attack on Gaza.

In Sydney, protester Rachel Evins captured the urgency of the movement, stating, "We are very hopeful, but we're organising because we don't want to see a World War III."

Similarly, in Washington, D.C., protester Cayla Nimmo voiced frustration over international double standards, noting, "I've been really disappointed in hearing the change in rhetoric [...] strong condemnation against Russia in Ukraine versus the lack of strength in condemning Israel for its war crimes in Palestine."
