Part 2 of Sundays rides with Kevin, Brady and Taylor Jan 21, 2024. This portion was right after lunch at The Mad Musher in Whitney down the B106E over and down to Lake St. Peter, where it's cuts right onto the E109 and takes you to the South eastern corner of Algonquin park. Hung a right there again onto 178a and back north towards Whitney where you link back up with B106E to take you all the way into Whitney. I wish I didn't run out of space on the camera, cause it was an interesting chain of events learning that our planned fuel up spot closed at 3 when we arrived there at 4:30. Had a friendly local guy show us how to get to another gas station in town that ice supposed to be open until 6, even on their website says 6, but it was closed too. Then the more sensible decision was to take the B trail into Madawaska to get gas as it was the closest gas station. 31 kms away, I might add. So we risked it and we all made it but I had 0 gas on the gas gauge. Had some laughs about it and all made it and then headed back to the trucks in the dark about 80 kms away due to the detour.

All in all a great day. Trails were patchy in a few places but generally in pretty good shape. 178a was definitely rough and whooped out and needed to be groomed but I still had fun on it. Definitely a work out though.
