Nut grass, Quack grass or Nut sedge can be incredibly persistent and keep coming back every time you weed it.

Instead of fighting a losing battle every week with nature, what can we learn from this plant’s presence? How can we use it as an indicator to improve our growing conditions for the long haul?

Consider that spraying herbicide is just kicking the can down the road by not addressing the root issues (see what I did there?) and exposing yourself to toxins. There is a better way but it requires patience and persistence.
