IMPORTANT UPDATE:
After a while Windows may revert your drivers back to old versions since these are not digitally signed. To prevent this, there are two options:

If you have a Pro version of windows, follow this tutorial to prevent automatic driver updates:
https://www.windowscentral.com/how-di...
If you have a Home version of Windows, follow this:
https://www.tomshardware.com/news/how...
ALSO make sure in GeForce Experience (if you installed it) that automatic driver updates are not enabled.

IF YOU CANNOT FIND YOUR ID IN THE .INI FILE:
I made a followup video that should help those that cannot locate their hardware ID in the driver's .ini file    • Nvidia Fix Followup (Cannot Find ID)

0:29 - 2:00 Prepwork/What to download/Where to be cautious
2:00 - 2:33 Running DDU
2:33 - 4:03 Extracting Nvidia driver for modification
4:03 - 9:00 Modifying .inf file to recognize GPU
First issue solved!
9:48 - 11:08 Resolving "Installer failed error"
11:08 - 11:56 Confirming fix
All done!

Hopefully this works for you guys. I don't know if this works universally but hopefully it impacts as many people as possible. It's a relevant fix if:

If your driver installer says:
NVIDIA Installer Cannot continue
This NVIDIA graphics driver is not compatible with this version of Windows.
This graphics driver could not find any compatible graphics hardware.

OR:

NVIDIA Installer failed
Graphics Driver failed
