Learn what makes Princeton Center for Eating Disorders special: we believe in hope and aim to help people forge a new path towards recovery and a life worth living. In doing so, we work to find and develop evidence-based best practices for treating those with eating disorders, with the goal of ultimately strengthening individual sources of meaning and value in life outside of the eating disorder.

The combination of behavioral health and medical expertise available at Princeton Center for Eating Disorders puts our unit among a very few nationally that provide the level of care that we do. For example, to address the needs of adult patients who struggle with severe and enduring anorexia nervosa (SE-AN), we are developing research and clinical protocols based in a chronic-illness and quality-of-life models. In this and other projects, we rely on and contribute to growing cutting-edge research on the etiology and treatment of eating disorders.

In addition, PCED provides one of the few (if not the only) inpatient services for children as young as 8.

Our philosophy:
• Person-centered
• Evidence-based
• Collaborative
• Respectful
• Innovative
