Alaska is famous for its wide-open spaces, abundant outdoor experiences, and native culture. Alaska is also one of the best places in the world in which to view the Northern Lights. During the winter season the residents of Utqiagvik.the northernmost town in Alaska do not see the sun for 67 days continuously. But they enjoy the midnight sun during all summer days. The southern and costal region of Alaska can also be cloudy with some rain showers throughout the year.
