I visited an uninhabited island in Yokosuka, Kanagawa Prefecture.
A fortress was established on Sarushima during the Meiji period as a defense base during wars. The buildings from that time remain in their original state, so you can feel the real atmosphere. That said, it seems that no actual fighting took place there, so you can just casually look around.
It's a great place for summer vacation because you can [learn, play, and eat]!
