Day 6 of our Norwegian Fjords cruise on the Carnival Pride was a dark one. Literally. We were in a cave. Our excursion took us into a decommissioned section of an active mine that filled with water and has a cool boat ride. They tell you about the cave, about the mine, and let you taste some of the water that filters up through a spring through the rock and is apparently some of the purest, most delicious water in the world. I can confirm, it was good water. As fun as the tour was, we felt a little underwhelmed by this one, can’t say we’d fully recommend the cave tour.

That night we had dinner at David’s Steakhouse, which I can recommend. The food was very good, though the service on this particular cruise was excruciatingly slow. I think it took over 2 hours for our meal, and the restaurant wasn’t even close to full.
