World Renowned Jazz Violinist Gwen Laster appeared on stage at the KuBe Arts Center in her hometown of Beacon, New York for the Beacon Bonfire Arts Festival - alongside her husband Damon Banks on Bass, Mani Kosh on keys, and Harvy Wirht on drums - making up the band TRAVELGUIDES. Though a trained violinist, Gwen opened and closes her sets playing the Sansula by ‪@HokemaKalimbas‬ as part of improvised soundscapes with the other instruments. Sansulas and other intuitive instruments from ‪@WePlayWellTogether‬ can be incorporated by professional musicians in a variety of contexts. They are so easy and fun to play they bring joy and creativity to a musical act, without having to study a whole new instrument.
