Vielha e Mijaran is a municipality in Aran, Lleida, Spain. It was created in 1970 by the merger of the municipalities of Arròs e Vila, Betlan, Escunhau, Gausac, Vielha and Vilac.
It is a first-class tourist center, thanks to the natural environment of the entire Vall d'Aran and its proximity to the ski resorts.
Vielha's climate is oceanic with mountain influence. It is characterized by cold winters, cool summers and abundant precipitation.
The traditional economy was based on livestock and forestry. Currently the main activity is mountain tourism.
