►Lesson Description: In this lesson we take a look at the Pony Language -- a high performance language that leans into the Actor model. The Pony language has an interesting history, and it is clear to see that it was influence to build highly concurrent systems. With the Actor model, and various language constructs, the Pony language boosts several safety features -- from the basics like static typing, to more advanced (e.g. all exceptions handled, no data races). The Pony language is quite young as it approaches version 1.0, but I thought it was very well documented and may be of interest to many.
