Just before 4pm, multiple 911 calls were placed reporting a house fire near E. 41st Street S. and S. Darlington Avenue. The callers said that lots of smoke was coming from the vents and roof. Engine 25 was the first crew to arrive and had the fire knocked down 11 minutes from the time they were dispatched. One male resident was able to escape the fire before our arrival but was still transported to the hospital for further evaluation.
