카페 폴레폴레는 대전 유성구에 위치한 "미디어 카페"입니다. 누구든 편안하게 방문할 수 있는 공간을 만들고 싶은 마음을 담아, 24시간 내내 밝은 빛을 밝히는 카페입니다. 많은 사람들이 카페 폴레폴레의 공간을 더 풍부하게 즐길 수 있도록, 토브웍스의 다양한 콘텐츠로 Media Wall, Floor Interaction, Table Interaction 작업을 더 돋보이게 제작했습니다.

"Media Wall(Waterfall)"은 벽면 영상으로 카페 폴레폴레에 입장하는 순간을 장식합니다. 자연적인 분위기를 끌어내는 시원한 폭포로 시작하여, 그 아래의 심해로 이어지는 신비로운 공간을 표현합니다. 어떤 방향에서 보더라도 입체감을 즐길 수 있도록 만들어, 도심 속 카페에서 자연을 즐길 수 있도록 만든 콘텐츠입니다.

"Floor Interaction"은 바닥 위로 볼 수 있는 콘텐츠로, 이 작품 위를 걸어가는 것만으로도 고객이 작품에 "참여"하는 것 같은 몰입감을 선사합니다. 꽃과 물결, 갈라지는 금과 같은 시각적으로 화려한 효과를 사용하여 나이와 성별에 상관없이 모두 즐겁게 즐길 수 있는 소통의 콘텐츠입니다.

"Table Interaction"은 카페 폴레폴레의 2층에서 만나볼 수 있는 테이블 매핑(mapping) 콘텐츠입니다. 테이블마다 빔프로젝터가 자리 잡고 있고, 테이블 위로 컵이 놓일 때마다 빔프로젝터가 컵을 인식하게 됩니다. 이때마다 컵 주변으로 계절별, 컨셉별로 다른 디테일한 콘텐츠가 등장하여 고객에게 색다른 호기심과 즐거움을 줍니다.

토브웍스는 어쩌면 아직은 낯설게 느껴지는 미디어아트를 다양하게 활용하여 일상에서도 쉽게 아트를 접할 기회들을 만들어 가고 있습니다. 미디어아트의 시각적 효과를 넘어 오늘의 경험을 어제보다 더 폭넓게 만들기 위해, 토브웍스는 여러분의 일상에 더 가까이 찾아가겠습니다.

Tovworks created various content to enrich this space by utilizing media wall, floor interaction, and interactive media table.

When you enter the cafe, you will see the "media wall"(waterfall) immediately. It starts with a refreshing waterfall reminiscent of nature and transitions into a mysterious underwater world. No matter where you are, you can enjoy the diverse three-dimensional beauty and stunning views, allowing you to experience nature within an urban café setting.

The "Floor Interaction" is an interactive media art on the floor, allowing customers to engage with the artworks simply by walking on it. Featuring content such as flowers, waves, and gold, it is a communication platform that can be enjoyed by anyone, regardless of age or gender.

Lastly, the "Table Interaction" is a table mapping content located on the second floor of the café. Each table is equipped with a projector that recognizes cups and it displays seasonal and conceptual content. It allows not only visual effects but also unusual experiences of media art in daily life.
