In this video, I dive into session 2 of this series titled, “Looking Back”. Here we explore the necessity of self-reflection and examining our past in order to heal from our hurts/traumas. This is one of the most crucial practices for us to implement in our lives in order to avoid projecting our pain onto others.

Suppressing our emotions has become all too common, especially for us as men, and we have been deceived into thinking those emotions are somehow not affecting us on a daily basis. In reality, they are actually just buried in the deepest parts of our souls, unconsciously influencing a majority of our behaviors.

The good news is that we do not need to remain as prisoners to our past unless we choose to. We need only to allow the light of the world to reveal and ultimately transform the darkness…

John 1:4-5 - “In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it”
