✨ About the speaker ✨

Dr Aparna Raniga is a Sydney based glaucoma and cataract surgeon. After completing Ophthalmology training in New Zealand, she undertook 2 further years of subspecialist training in Glaucoma in Switzerland and Canada, before returning to Sydney in 2018.


Dr Raniga provides comprehensive care for patients with glaucoma. She specialises in MIGS, deep sclerectomy, trabeculectomy and tube shunt surgery. She is also extensively trained in state-of-the-art topical cataract surgery in glaucoma patients.

She is also actively involved in glaucoma research at Macquarie University Hospital and is passionate about teaching the next generation of Ophthalmologists.
