Here's another 800 series board with the UX 80 projector which will not turn on from the control panel. The system is in standby with amber lights on the projector and panel, and it simply will not respond to the control panel power button.

However I learned from staff that the projector does work with the remote, and indeed it does, turns on fine.

Tried the control panel again to turn it off and again, there no is response. It will turn off using the remote control.

Finally, I briefly turn off the main power to the projector and the board, turn the main power back on, and now suddenly the control panel power button works!

So there is some unknown problem that randomly prevents the power button from working, which is "correctible" by power cycling.

Is this correctable with a firmware update to either the projector or the control panel? Or is this just the way it is, and it can't be fixed?
