My 8.1 has started misfiring and backfiring under acceleration and the idle is weak and not steady. In this video I pull apart the 8.1 step by step and investigate the source of the backfire. Along the way I make some 8.1 specific tools, update the engine with non conventional parts and show the current development of our 8.1 8100 Vortec supercharger adapter.
