On April 25, CHCF held a briefing on AI and its impact on the health care safety net. Mark Ghaly, MD, MPH, Secretary of California Health and Human Services Agency, gave the keynote address followed by a panel of health care experts who discussed opportunities and challenges, including algorithmic bias and access to AI in historically marginalized communities, as well as important policy and regulatory considerations.
