Jim Jackson's ,"Old Dog Blue", is one of those songs that sounds too simple to be true. Then you try doing it for yourself and you realize that he just played a cruel joke on you. A subtle up-beat pattern, and some kind of mesmerizing bass line going on in the cracks with that omnipresent drone in the bass all the while. It easily becomes more than you signed up for when sitting down to play it. I figured it out though! And what a meditative little groove it is after all that work. Enjoy!
