....are these supposed to be a Yamaha CP-70? I think so. No idea which is more authentic. I like both. The Viscount is more piano-y which makes me like it more initially, but there's certain ideas I played that sound better with the Crumar. This didn't need to be 18 minutes but I let it run.

This is one of those videos I recorded a while back. The SD card sits in the camera forever and I don't bother to upload it. It's not a sound I use much, but seeing as the Viscount and Crumar both have "E.Grand" on the front panel, I thought it be cool to try them out. Thankfully the sound level is decent and there's no audio peaking that I detected. It's recorded directly into camera from the RME UFX+ main outputs.

How does this work? When I turn on the E.Piano module, we hear the E.Grand from the Viscount. When I switch on the External module, the E.Grand from the Seven is heard. They've got a smattering of chorus on them throughout the video, and I gradually turn up the reverb on both. I think you can grasp the character of the two.

There's some good playing here. I hope you can at least enjoy it if you're not in for the head-to-head business. A bit of Tony Banks and Gershwin things with a few of my own ideas. Been a while since I uploaded. I saw today that Viscount posted one of my videos on their website! That made me remember this video. Thanks for watching! Or listening. Or anything. Hello? Is anyone out there? Is this thing working..?
