Meghalaya | Meghalaya Tour | Meghalaya Tourist places | Meghalaya Vlog | Meghalaya Budget Trip

Hi, Welcome to my channel. This vlog is about Meghalaya top tourist places. In this video I will be taking you to the visual Meghalaya tour and cover Meghalaya's tourist places. Meghalaya is situated in Eastern part of india. The most likely weather to go here is during monsoon and winter where you can expect the most of beautiful waterfalls and pleasant weather in winters.

How we can reach:-
In this video am first covering the details about how you can reach Meghalaya by various means of transport like airoplane, Train and buses.

There are various options available for Bike, scooty and car rent also which starts from 600 rupees.

Hotels vs Homestay:-

After that i covered the various room options available in meghalaya there are many hotels that we can book in Shilong and little bit less options available in cherrapunjee.
Hotels are little bit costlier in cherrapunjee. So I will suggest you to book Homestay's if you are looking for cheaper options. The homestay which I booked was at perfectly nice place there is a very short walking distance to Double decker bridge trek starting point.
Host was very friendly nature and helped me lot the food options you have to talk to your host in advance whether it is provided in the cost of room or not.

Prut Waterfall:-

I was going to visit Wei Sawdong Falls but there was a local dispute. Some people there advised me to visit Prut waterfall as a choice. By taking a 50 rupees ticket I reached there and the views were great. Prut Waterfall looks similar to wei sawdong falls. its height is 40 meters and it was a very calming experience sitting there. There is also a natural shower if you climb little bit top on side.

Dainthlen Falls:-

In the way to Prut waterfall we can see this waterfall also. This waterfall is open full day and there is no entry ticket for this waterfall. But just take care of your step don't slip and take care of child's also. Don't cross the barigates or you can lose your .....

Arwah caves:-

After that I took lunch and searched in map the location of Arwah Caves. Arwah caves are natural caves and were made around 30 million years ago. We can see several fossils here. The water used to flow in earth inside caves so mark your steps before moving. In the cave we can also see some gold and silver like stones. At first i thought these are real but when I touched them these were just water droplets. I thought I have found a treasure very easily by coming here.
So this was my first day in Meghalaya. In next part I will be covering Double decker bridge trek and Rainbow falls and much more places.
