LIBANON: Escape to Syria! “We're in no man's land right now!” Civilians caught between the fronts!

According to the Red Cross in Lebanon, medics have once again been injured in an airstrike in the country. Rescuers were searching for victims in a house near Siddikin in the south when the building was hit again, the aid organization said. Four paramedics were injured, the state news agency NNA reported. Two ambulances were also damaged. The injured are in a stable condition.

“Lebanese Red Cross volunteers should be protected at all times when attempting to rescue victims,” the organization demanded.

According to the World Health Organization (WHO), at least 94 healthcare workers have been killed during operations in Lebanon since the new escalation between Israel and the Hezbollah militia. During this period, there have been around 40 attacks on healthcare facilities. There have also been casualties in the ranks of the civil defense.
