Guimaras is the Mango capital of the Philippines and located in the Western part of Visayas. Said province is situated in Panay Gulf between the islands of Panay and Negros, to the northwest is the City of Iloilo and the southeast is Negros Occidental. The Municipality of Jordan is the capital town of the province. The province of Guimaras is composed of municipalities of Buenavista, Jordan, Nueva Valencia, San Lorenzo and Sibunag with 98 total numbers of barangays.
