On June 10 this year, the Hong Kong company Sinotruk VGV officially unveiled the new 2021 SUV with the PLUS prefix, based on the previously released version of the U75 car, which in many respects is comparable to the very popular VW Tiguan. The novelty differs from its so-called source by an improved design, which has become sporty, brutal and stylish. Not so long ago, there was almost no information about the VGV U75 Plus. However, now most of the data has already been disclosed, because the Chinese crossover of 2021 went on sale the very next day after the presentation.

The appearance of the model has changed markedly in comparison with its predecessor. The black grille and completely new bumper have made the design of the car more sporty and in line with the style trends of modern cars of the latest generations. However, the restyling almost did not affect the dimensions of the new model: the length of the car was 4825 mm, the width was 1870 mm, and the height was 1691 mm. Recall that the "base" for the updated car had the same dimensions, except for the length: the U75 is 190 mm shorter than its younger brother.

The wheelbase of the restyled version is 2800 mm, and the ground clearance is 210 mm. The trunk volume is 520 liters. Given the possibility of folding the rear row of seats, this volume can be significantly increased. New cars from China.

The fuel tank can hold 58 liters of fuel. The curb weight is 1680 kg without any alternative, regardless of the configuration. In total, 2 versions of the model were developed. The 2021 Chinese crossover is equipped with large 18-inch wheels with 225/55 R18 tires. The complete set provides for the presence of a spare wheel that is not full-size.

At the moment, the car is offered with a saloon for 5 passengers, but there are rumors that 6 and 7 variants may be released in the future.

The cabin has 2 touch screens, 10.1 and 10.25 inches. One is responsible for multimedia, and the second reflects technical data, including speed, fuel remaining and other parameters. Chinese cars 2021.

Under the hood of the car is a turbocharged 4-cylinder engine that produces 224 hp. and 385 Nm of maximum torque at 1800-3600 rpm. This motor is paired with an 8-speed manual transmission.

The drive for the VGV U75 Plus 2021 has no alternative to the front. The suspension is independent, represented by MacPherson struts at the front and a multi-link structure at the rear. Disc brakes on both sides, front ventilated, parking brake - electronic.
