Lots of cyclists genuinely live by the tongue in cheek saying, "the ideal number of bikes is n+1 where n equals the number of bikes currently owned." While there's benefits to having a stable of bikes best suited for different situations, there's a lot of practical benefits to owning only ONE bike that are overlooked. Here's why I wholeheartedly live the n=1 life.
