Speaking over PM Modi’s remark that ‘three families’ looted J&K, Congress leader & party's candidate from Dooru constituency, Ghulam Ahmad Mir said people of J&K are tired of this repeated remark of BJP and he further said that out of three families that were mentioned by PM two have already been with BJP.
He said, “Remarks that the PM makes on Congress, I think it's obvious as Congress and BJP have different ideologies and it'll continue to be. But, when he says that the 'three families' are responsible for all the mishaps in the state, he forgets that the people are not innocent - they know that when the BJP is in need - they beg NC for support. In the Atal Bihari Vajpayee govt, NC was an important part... They were with the PDP under PM Modi... Even today, they have put pressure on NC not to go in alliance with us, even offering them the CM's post. What is the reason for PDP not being in the INDIA alliance? They want to have a buffer zone if PDP gets 4-5 seats. What is the reason behind the 'ghar waapasi' of Engineer Rashid during the elections?”
