The Maldives is a notoriously expensive surf trip destination, synonymous with luxury resorts, exclusive reef passes, and expensive boat charters. It’s a place that remains out of (most of our) price range, but can it be done on a shoestring budget?? I was intrigued and headed to the islands to find out.
