Many keep commenting, why there is no tamil song. My response for one of the comments..

I'm born and brought up in a place called "Bellary" in Karnataka which is Telugu dominated Kannada speaking city... Naturally in my upbringing, i have listened to kannada and Telugu songs learning thyagaraja kritis along with watching Hindi, Daler mehndi etc on DD, listening to Kishore Kumar da and Rafi Saab.. My exposure to Tamil was only thru some of Mani Ratnam sir and Kamal Hassan's movies and later became a die hard of ARR during the time of Roja, Pudhiya mugam, thiruda thiruda etc during college days.. So any of the songs released in other languages beyond my limited exposure will not be known to me.. I don't google and include songs from other languages.. I just sing what I knew. I have included some of songs from Dalapathi in my yaman medley. Normally many won't think from the angle, "How many Kannada songs in Raga Shivaranjini or Mohana or some other raga a Telugu or Tamil singer would know?..." In the same way I also may not know Tamil songs in all the ragas .. when this video was released 2 years back, I was very disappointed to get so many abusive comments for not including tamil songs...later i had to specifically Google for Tamil songs in any raga I was doing and started to include to avoid such comments.. Just fyi... the previous video before releasing this, I had started with Kunjum Nilavu song on veena, and before that vaseegara played by my daughter... However there was no response for the ones where we had included .. Thanks in advance for understanding and supporting music and all languages 🙏🙏🙏 Love..
