Philadelphia, also known as the City of Brotherly Love, boasts a rich history, vibrant culture, and a thriving business landscape.

Before Philadelphia was colonized by Europeans, the area was inhabited by the Lenape (Delaware) Indians. The Delaware River Valley was called the Zuyd, meaning “South” River, or Lënapei Sipu
Philadelphia, founded and incorporated in 1682 by William Penn, quickly grew into an important colonial city. During the American Revolution, it was the site of the First and Second Continental Congresses. After the Revolution, the city served as the temporary capital of the United States. Throughout the 19th century, Philadelphia remained the cultural and financial center of the country. It became one of the first U.S. industrial centers, with textiles being a major industry.
