Do you guys remember a couple years ago when they proposed the European Super League

And everyone was up in arms about it, Fans protested, Clubs slowly dropped out of it, Pundits had their say, Rory and Thogdad saved Chelsea, and the plans pretty much collapsed?

Well UEFA Pretty much decided to keep the Idea for themselves and change the structure of the Champions League moving forward.

So if you don't know Already,

The way The Champions League is going to play out from here on out is going to be entirely different.

The group stage format that we’ve been watching since the conception of the Champions League is no more

As it's been deemed too boring for whatever reason.

Oh and they also decided to copy this new format for The Europa and Conference league as well.

The only things that they decide to keep the same about the Champions League are qualification and the Knockouts.

Teams still have to be in the upper echelon of their respective domestic competition to qualify for the competition or for the pre-competition qualifiers.

Once teams have fully qualified for the competition they are then placed into one of 4 pots which align with their ranking in World Football.

Essentially you have the best teams, the better teams, the good teams, and then the thank you for your participation teams.

The conference League is the only one of the three competitions that will have 6 pots instead of 4.

And like I said the Knockouts stay mostly the same although there is an extra step which I will get into in one second.
