This video explains the three actions of the magic trio that cause you to shift into mixed voice. In no specific order, they are: lowering the larynx, lowering the volume, and keeping a smaller mouth opening. Mixed voice is presented here as an idea alongside the idea's of chest voice and falsetto, and is thought of as an "in-between" of those two sounds. The magic trio helps a singer control whether or not they mix, belt, or use falsetto on a given pitch in the upper range.
