This is the best exercise to learn how to play arpeggios (a.k.a chord tones) in all twelve keys on the double bass or bass guitar. If you want to learn where ALL of the notes are on your fingerboard as quickly as possible, this is the exercise that you need. For jazz or improvising bassists this information is essential and the exercise helped my double bass playing more than anything else I've done.

To demonstrate, I teach 1-octave major 7th arpeggios in all twelve keys using the cycle of 5ths.
